This Awarness Campaign outlines a plan for a dynamic and impactful Roadshow and Camping Exhibition, aimed at engaging the public through interactive displays, community outreach, and live education activities. The roadshow will travel along N1, N2, and N4 routes, stopping at key towns and cities to maximize visibility, participation, screening, and awareness.

What is Kidney Failure?

Kidney Disease is a growing public health concern in South Africa. Many people are unaware that they have kidney problems until the disease reaches advanced stages. Late diagnosis often leads to kidney failure, requiring dialysis or transplantation – both of which are costly with a limited availability.

CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) refers to all kidney conditions where a person has evidence of kidney damage and/or reduced kidney function that lasts for three months or more. There are five recognised CKD stages. Stage 1 is the mildest form, gradually progressing through to stage 5 also known as end stage kidney disease (ESKD).

ROADSHOWS & CAMPAIGNS

This campaign will be captured live with all the engagements, traveling, camping, cooking, dialysing, exhibitions, education, screening, and interviews with the aim to make a documentary that can be televised by the partnering production company.
